In order to select and apply the most appropriate anesthesia technique for you, it is very important that you have clear, complete and correct answers to all the questions you are being asked during the preoperative anesthesia consultation.

Sleeve gastrectomy is performed with laparoscopic (closed) technique. In the procedure, only 3 small incisions (if necessary 4), each measuring 1-1,5 cm in length, are made. Contrary to the conventional open surgery, a large incision is not required.
